Zigio Maps

Accessibility statement

Updated: 20 October 2026

Zigio Maps is improving access for people with disabilities. Our target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA. A full conformance review is not complete; this statement does not claim full compliance or legal certification.

Accessibility features

  • Keyboard navigation: Tab and Shift+Tab move between controls, Enter activates, and Escape closes a dialog. Arrow keys navigate search suggestions and gallery photos.
  • A link at the start of the page opens results as a list, providing an alternative to the map. Marker groups announce listing counts.
  • Dialogs manage focus and return it to their opener. Keyboard focus has a visible outline.
  • Language and text direction follow your selection. Loading and result messages support screen readers; reduced motion preferences are respected.

Known limitations

Drawing an area on the map requires a pointer; search and filters remain available through the list. Listing photos, source text and external sites come from third parties; descriptions, language and accessibility are not guaranteed. Manual screen reader validation of every screen is not complete.
